Warranty

This limited warranty applies to products sold under the Crock-Pot name and is issued by Sunbeam Products, Inc. in the United States and by Newell Brands Canada ULC for purchases made in Canada. Coverage is extended solely to the original retail purchaser and is valid only for products acquired within the United States or Canada. When used under normal household conditions and maintained according to the provided operating and care instructions, the product is guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year. The warranty term begins on the date of purchase or the date of delivery, whichever occurs later.

Eligibility for warranty service is limited to items purchased directly from Crock-Pot or through authorized retailers approved by the brand. Because the company cannot oversee the handling, storage, or condition of products sold by unauthorized sellers, including certain online marketplaces, warranty claims associated with those purchases may be declined unless otherwise required by law. Consumers are encouraged to confirm that a seller is officially authorized before completing a purchase to ensure coverage.

This warranty does not extend to certain circumstances. Excluded conditions include ordinary wear and tear, cosmetic blemishes that do not interfere with functionality, and damage resulting from misuse, negligence, improper cleaning, accidental impact, or failure to follow instructions. Problems arising from incorrect electrical supply or voltage are also not covered. The warranty becomes void if the product has been modified, dismantled, or repaired by any party other than Crock-Pot or an authorized service provider. Additionally, damage caused by events outside reasonable control, such as fires, floods, storms, or other natural disasters, is excluded. Products used in commercial settings or for purposes beyond standard household cooking are not eligible for coverage. Loss or theft is likewise not included.

Customers should avoid attempting independent repairs to electrical or mechanical components. Any malfunction linked to unauthorized service, replacement parts, or alterations may invalidate the warranty. Routine maintenance services and non-warranty repairs are not covered, and the company assumes no responsibility for damage resulting from service performed outside approved channels.

To request warranty service, customers must complete the official warranty claim process available through the brand’s website or contact customer support during regular operating hours. Proof of purchase and documentation showing the date and place of purchase are required. Photographs or additional information may be requested to evaluate the claim. In certain cases, the product may need to be returned for inspection. If return shipment is authorized, the customer will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number that must appear clearly on the package. Items should not be shipped without prior approval. Customers are responsible for shipping costs to the service center, while return shipping expenses will be covered by the company.

If a defect is confirmed and the claim meets warranty conditions, the company will provide a replacement product. Should the original model be unavailable, a similar model of equal value currently in production will be substituted. Replacement is the sole remedy offered under this warranty, and no additional compensation or alternative remedies are provided.

No warranties apply beyond those expressly described here. Any implied warranties, including those of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the same one-year duration. Certain jurisdictions may not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so some provisions may vary by location. This warranty grants specific legal rights, and consumers may have additional rights depending on applicable state or provincial laws.

This limited warranty supersedes any previous warranty statements included in packaging or instruction materials and is effective as of July 19, 2024. A printed copy can be requested by contacting customer service. Information collected during the claims process is used internally and managed in accordance with the company’s privacy practices.
